FNL MINI CAMP PART 2

REGISTRATION FOR 4 WEEK Mini

Camp #2 opens Tues Oct 13

AND WILL CLOSE WHEN SOLD OUT. 

CAMP LIMITED TO THE FIRST 200 PLAYERS.

What is it?

• A series of 4 FRIDAY NIGHT CAMPS Oct. 30, Nov 6, Nov 13, Nov 20
• NO WEEKDAY PRACTICES!
• Space IS limited to only 200 spots.
• Player enhancement, skill  development, and skills competition.
• Kinder-8th grade… All players welcome experience- new, tackle and flag.
• Camp tailored to meet and push players to improve skill set- players will be placed with others of same age and skills to optimize player experience.

Is the Fall Season still on?

We are still waiting for State guidelines to ok youth competition.  The Mini Camp series part 2 is in addition to the Fall Season. We hope to start the Fall Season once state guidelines allow  competition  No risk registration still open at HBFNL.com

Where?

The Mini Camp Series will be held at Worthy Park in HB.

How are we staying safe?

• If you have any COVID symptoms, been exposed to someone with COVID or have any underlying heath conditions that make you more susceptible to COVID we kindly ask that you do not participate.
• Temperature checks will be administered upon entry to the field.
• Hand sanitizer stations will be provided
• Equipment will be sanitized before and after each session.
• No spectators on the sidelines (except in rare cases approved by commissioner). There will be designated drop off/ pick up areas and parents may watch from the parking lot.  
• Masks are mandatory for coaches at all times.  Masks must be worn by players when checking in and exiting the park.
• Not related to COVID, but still important, no player’s with a cast will be permitted to play.

How much is it?

• $125 for all 4 weeks includes your FNL camp shirt!
• $115 for returning camp #1 players (no new shirt will be given so please wear your camp shirt from first camp)
• If you have FNL credit from the Spring 2020 season and would like to use this towards the mini camp email Christy Brodt at HBFNLfootball@gmail.com

How does it work?

• The FNL staff is responsible for sanitizing ALL equipment prior to use.
• Players remain in stable groups of no more than 12.
• Location: Worthy Park Huntington Beach
• Start times: 4:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 7:30. You will be assigned a time according to age group
• Each group will be on the field for 1 hour and 15 minutes..
• A 15 minute intermission between groups to allow for sanitizing and safe entry/ exit to the fields.
• Quality Coaches organize skills, drills, techniques and competitions.
• Coaches are College and higher experienced athletes with knowledge of fundamentals,  proper tech and skill building.

What should we wear?

• Any color shorts with no pockets
• FNL Mini-Camp shirt (to be provided)
• Cleats (recommended)
• Flags, footballs will be available for use

How do requests work?

• You may request to be with your buddies.  We will honor requests as long as it does not go over max number of kids per group.  You may request an entire team of up to 12 players ... please let us know the players' names and make sure they all get registered before we sell out.

We will be following a very strict set of protocols.  These protocols are in line with the State and City recommendations on how best to slow the spread of COVID -19: 

* If you have any COVID symptoms, been exposed to anyone with COVID, or have any underlying health conditions that make you more susceptible to COVID, we kindly ask you not to participate. 

* If any player or adult has a temperature or any flu like symptoms, we kindly ask you to stay home. 

* All players and adults must wear a mask upon arrival to the mini camp 

* Players can take their masks off once they get to their field.  They will then be required to put back on after the camp 

* All adults, coaches and FNL staff will wear a mask at all times 

* All equipment will be disinfected prior to and after use. 

* All coaches will have their temperature checked prior to starting their practice. 

* Parents are encouraged to drop off and pick up only.   If parents want to watch the practice, please do so from your car. 

* Skills, Drills and Conditioning will be conducted with social distancing in mind at all times. 

* All players and coaches are asked to exit the park immediately after their 1 hour 15-minute camp.

* Hand sanitizers will be readily available at the FNL tent. 

* Please bring your own water bottle or hydration.  No sharing of any hydration options. 

We thank you in advance for complying with these mandatory participation requirements and together we can all help slow the spread and get these kids back to a normal FNL Friday in the near future.
